I just noticed something . All the photocopied or printed out sheet music which Initially we are obsessed with, usually gets filed away and forgotten a year later.

What do you do with them??? Usually they are always useless. Unless you know you’ll suddenly get Interested again. Keep it.

I also noticed that my longest printed sheet music is 18 pages long! Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 By liszt , the piece which currently I’m working on. ( two months , i’m at the first bar of tempo giusto)

How do you manage long pieces of sheet music without flipping frantically?? What if you wanted to view four pages at a time which are not in order ?What if you didn’t want the papers to be fluttering away ?

Filing! IS NOT a method for long sheet music. You’ll be flipping the pieces to crumbs.
Your piano teachers ( if you take lessons) probably have taped stuff .

I tape them together after seeing my teacher did that. It helped alot .You can spread it and view your pages differently on the very sheet holder. And Without them falling! ( or flipping on its own) .

The taping process is hard , but you’re gona use the sheet music for a long time since its very very long right? it’ll be worth it.

You know whats the worst part of exams or tests???

No it isn’t the preparation for this extremely difficult or uber easy test or this die hard exam.
No it isn’t the wait in the exam hall after you’ve finished and you’ve got an hour’s time on your hand.
NO it isn’t the convistication of your gadgets and equipments temporarily.

IT IS……..
The WAIT

for you results to come out. Damn thats a hard wait. Even if you’re confident in getting a hundred marks you still have to wait for it to come out to say ” See I TOLD YOU i’ll get a hundred!” .

I’m waiting for my theory results ( itoldyouitwasveryeasy waiting to be said) and my Piano Exam results (grade 5) .Waiting to be promoted. For a few months I’ve been waiting and all hope lies on

FACEBOOK. Get to get marks thru FACEBOOK. From my piano teacher. T.Lily Chiam!

The results better be eye candy for me after all this long wait.

Happy Chrismas 09′! its 6 days to new year and two weeks to school reopening!

Time flies slowly if you watch it but I’m telling you , counting the months makes it fast .

I can’t wait for school reopening coz at home now I’m always waking up late.Our daily timeline lags. School maintains it.

The new year means new everything. New habits probably , new pieces, new skills , new clothes. Which we all look forward to. BUT it also Means new responsibilities. Have a blast.

I am back from the trip to KK . For our year end holidays. Siting in the car for 6 hours numbs your body.

Up in the mountain…… we went to the dairy farm , for the first time, the dairy farm is huge and the scenery is awesome.

We have tons of pictures taken and they’re all in facebook!

My dad is going to sell our Clavinova since our house hasn’t the space for it. So Mulan and I will stick to one piano for the time being. Switching genres .

Its not christmas yet , its next week. But places are wildly decorated for this season. (in brunei there is no seasons)

Lemme tell you something, when you’re up in the mountains, time goes extremely slow. You can have a barbecue and get full before 30 minutes pass. But down in the city, things go really fast.

Today is a kidful day. Due to the general increase of child population in my house ,and other places. Alot of relatives came. We feasted on Thai food ahahaa.

Then they(27) came to my house. So I played the piano to let them enjoy our living room. Then my twin nephews showed interest in piano. We’re all going to KK on Tuesday so no internet no blogging. Might be fun. Could be fun. =P
