Alright, this is the 100th post. But there is not much stuff to catch.

Today was supposed to be rehearsals for this saturday’s Concert in Jerudong ampitheatre. But then they did NOT bring the keyboard (casio privia). So i have to rehearse tomorrow when the keyboard is there. Tho today I played and had fun with my friends. We went to this dark hallway where the star rooms are supposed to be. its kinda creepy. But after knowing its not that big, I thought its not scary anymore.

So this saturday is lucky that I have no school. We’re having our sports fest in the morning. I’m in blue colour but I”m not joining coz I don’t want to get worked up.

Mid year is coming. CAN”T BELIEVE TIME IS GONE!

This May 1st is my school’s sportfest. Which I will not participate in BECAUSE

My Teacher Has Invited Me To Play For Tel Bru’s 1st anniversary in Jerudong Ampitheatre. Surprisingly AND Coincidentally, Brunei’s Who’s Got Talent Top 30 are also invited to perform. Looks like I”m taking most of the stage up as a double role.

Its the first time that such thing has happened. Anyways, Wont be too much of a problem. Its still me , on the stage. xD

My teacher’s thinking of letting the good students of Expression Music School perform in disney land and china next year. CANT WAIT IF ITS TRUE.

I picked up a duet piece. Anitra’s Dance by Edvard Greig from the Peer Gynt Suite. Going to perform it with ms. Jaslyn Goh in the Mega concert of june which is TWO DAYS AFTER THE EXAMS.

Time is not going to fit properly. But Scheduling will. Really have so much things to do. I also have to pick up my 10 of the pieces which I left.

Speaking of which. I picked up a Piano and Violin Sonata. Spring Sonata Mvt 1 by Beethoven. Going to perform it with Shian li. We’ll see how things turn up.

After doing sports, you’ll relax the most. Today I went to the Gym with my sister. We did loads of work out. Then we came home, took our own baths and we feel very relaxed. Its better than being in a 5 star hotel really. Its like your house is a 5 star hotel. =D

I’ve been experimenting with Garage Band. The first Production I did was Canon in D with R&B music. With other themes.Like star wars , Mr.Bean and my sister’s violin piece. It was my first time so I wanted to have fun.

Then later I did Struck. A composition in A major. Pretty improvised. But Finalized in the end. This one , I had a lot of fun doing. Tho it turned out quite sticky, it was still nice =D.

After Struck I produced, Pasted. Which I named because most of the themes are copy and pasted through out the whole song. It’s nice. Very smooth and realistic ( I didn’t use any instrument, just a computer, can’t wait to use a real instrument though)

Then the latest one is Darken. My Favourite one. Its very dark, and cool. Like a sleek horror scene where the good guy kills the bad guy. Its nice here’s the link.

I got new pieces for Piano four hands. Anitra’s Dance by Grieg. I’m pretty sure its for this june’s concert. I’m meeting a lot of new ppl lately.

Today , Evan and Eden, made a birthday card for One of the secretaries in my Music school, Anna Tang. Then we all , jessica, hazel, shian li, evan, eden and me , signed it and greeted happy birthday. It was made on a piece of white paper and a red marker pen. But it was rather simple, and fun not to mention.

I finished two theory past year papers, still have two more to go. Composing a melody is a hard thing to do, I’m getting less and less mistakes than that of the last time i did past year papers . Around two a Section( Winter ,Spring , Sample).

I find doing Hanon quite a waste of time ( for advanced students). Because Advanced students know how to improve their skills so why play something which You can’t perform? Play etudes which improves your skill , and performable. Right now I”m working on two etudes which are the revolutionary etude and the winter wind etude.
