Maksim Mrvica, the Croatian Crossover Classical pianist has just recently released a new Album titled “Appassionata”

The only pieces I know in there is Camille Saint-Saens’s carnival of the animals. Well, his first albums – the piano player,elektrik and pure- were all heavily based in to techno music. Occasionally, it gets irritating when played on repeat too much.

His newer album, which was released last year titled “New World” was on of his best albums. With pieces from Grieg, Wagner and purcell, it had a more developed style and balance in the music. It is techno and crossover as Maksim intended but the classical touch is there.

I hope his new album would be just as great or even better than the New World. It should be, because its not easy to get fans who scream when all you’re doing is playing the piano ;D.

On the 30th of November, I will be having a high tea solo recital in the Empire hotel.

Right after the rock concert, which is right after my piano exams, which are right after my theory exams, which are on the last day of my Year end exam, which is next week. I’ve never been this busy my life before.
